Challenge
A Swiss insurer wanted to move beyond general AI awareness and build practical skills that employees could apply in their day-to-day work.
The challenge was to create a programme relevant to different roles and business functions, while providing a consistent learning experience across German- and French-speaking teams. Employees needed to understand not only what AI can do, but also how to identify appropriate applications, use available tools effectively, and evaluate their outputs responsibly.
Approach
Experiens AI designed and delivered a tailored AI capability-building programme combining foundational understanding with hands-on, role-relevant application.
Across more than 20 courses, participants worked with practical examples and exercises connected to their everyday responsibilities. This enabled them to explore where AI could support tasks, improve workflows, and enhance the quality or efficiency of their work. The programme also addressed responsible use, appropriate human oversight, and the limitations of AI-generated outputs.
Content and exercises were delivered in German and French, ensuring that employees across both language regions developed a consistent foundation while learning in their working language.
Outcome
Employees across business functions developed a stronger practical understanding of AI and greater confidence in identifying and applying relevant tools in their daily work.
The programme established a shared baseline of AI capability across the organisation, giving employees a common understanding of effective and responsible use while accommodating the needs of both German- and French-speaking teams.
